Sumitra Espresso Lounge is nestled in the Gulfport neighborhood in St. Petersburg. Many have asked us...Why call an espresso lounge SumitrA? The name touched me when I met a family who’s patriarch fell sick with cancer. I saw a woman step up to her husband’s needs and stood by his side until he was cured. One evening she fell sick and never made it out of the hospital. Her name was SumitrA. This name means good friend in Sanskrit. I did not seek this project...it found me! When I made up my mind to follow through, the only fitting name was my friend’s name...SumitrA. Now, we have a place to invite all of my Sumitras as well as yours! Join us to experience our unique atmosphere! We have a wide variety of Espresso selections, loose leaf teas, CBD sodas, wheat grass shots and more. You can choose the CBD infused coffee, espresso or tea also. We also offer several tasty treats to compliment your selections.
I am dedicating this venture to my late father and mentor Albert.
