What to Expect

On this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, your ride begins in the clear, beautiful water of Tampa Bay, with the Sunshine Skyway Bridge as the perfect backdrop. The tranquil, relaxing trip is sure to put you at ease as you watch the dolphins, stingrays, native fish, and manatees swimming around you, all unafraid of the horses.

Then on the way back, after a short swimming lesson, our horses are excited to show you their favorite part of the adventure! Grab hold of the mane and hang on as the horses dip and dunk you in the warm water. The swimming is incredible (if conditions are right, and the temperature is above 60 degrees). There is no forcing the horses to swim, they absolutely love it! There’s also no harsh impact while they are swimming, only the sensation of flying through the water!

Your mounted guide navigates the tides while you enjoy the ride! They also share fun facts about our native sea life and our horses’ rescue stories.

You’re sure to fall in love with these beautiful creatures…but they didn’t always look this healthy and strong. 95% of our horses were rescued from farms or breeders with terrible living conditions. Important Information

If for any reason the weather is not cooperating, we may choose to alter the ride. Your enjoyment and safety are our top priorities. Horses tend to venture into the ocean about three feet deep throughout most of the ride. We often enjoy this ride even in cooler temperatures since you do not have to get wet.

Caution… our availabilities are selling out FAST! Please book your St. Petersburg horseback riding adventure online as far in advance as possible. If you don’t see a time and date that work for you, please contact us by phone or email.

Our picture package is available starting at $25 for two people. Please have the RE Camera App loaded on your phone. We may also choose to DropBox your photos. Sorry, riders must be 10 years old. Any children under 10 with experience must contact the office for permission. Sorry, no double riding.

Cancellation Policy:

All tickets are fully refundable up to 20 days prior to the day of your ride. Within 20 days of your ride, we will refund 50% of your ticket price up to 96 hours before the scheduled start time of your ride. At 96 hours (4 days) your money goes hard and will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Customers will be entitled to a refund or receive a rain check good for one year in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.  No-shows or late riders will be charged the full price with no refund. Please double check your ride time and location, arriving at the incorrect location for your ride could potentially forfeit your ride completely without the option to reschedule or receive a refund.  There are no refunds or cash values on Gift Certificate purchases.

Weather Policy
Activity may be cancelled due to severe weather.
The activity usually runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but the seller may cancel the activity up to an hour before the start time in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If the seller cancels the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule, gift certificate or a full refund.
