Our Story
THE PASSION FOR PIZZA
Gennaro's open on June 7,1989 by Jerry (Gennaro) Feola having his mother Nancy helping in front, his Brothers Neil and Sal joined Jerry, aka The Boss, few moths later and the 3 brothers work together in Gennaro's for years with Sal Feola in front, Aniello (Niel) Feola in the kitchen and Jerry (Gennaro) Feola making pizzas. In 1998 Sal left to open he's own restaurant and in 1999 Neil left to open he's own restaurant, that is went Marcelo Rafaniello come in and take over the kitchen and under the guidance of Jerry, that was the star of the next generation with out theme even knowing. Marcelo met Carmen Victoria (Vicky) Castro, Jerry's niece the was one of the girls the work in the front with Jerry's daughter Jenny Feola after Sal left and Marcelo and Vicky fall in love and got married in 2003 Jerry sold the Restaurant to Peter Vasquez to retire and Marcelo and Vicky left to open a restaurant with Neil Jerry's brother in the north-east side of St Pete.in 2009 Peter sold the restaurant to Marcelo (the sold he's restaurant in the northeast) and that is how this family restaurant was built, now enough about the people and more about the food, all food is make in house from the bread to are own dressing,Pizzas, Italian dinners and all are recipes are make to order nothing pre-make or frozen are chicken, veal, seafood's make by order are bake dishes are make by order and are recipes are pass from generation to generation and have the best quality and freshens ingredient the we can obtain we care about are customers like they are family only the best and tried to meet everyone expectations ask about special dinners if we can make it we will, thank you for taking the time to read this me the owner of Gennaro's Marcelo wrote this i'm not a professional and English is not my firth language sorry about the mistakes but i want to be real ass i can to tell are histories enjoy and come in to see us me or my wife Vicky will be happy to take care of you and your family
