With over 20 years combined experience as a mental health provider and first responder, I have an exceptional understanding of the way traumatic events shape our minds and bodies. This includes how we perceive every facet of our lives, from work, relationships, and absolutely who we see in the mirror. My clinical experience includes work in the nonprofit and private sector with individuals, and groups, helping people heal from abuse, stress, anxiety, addictions, and trauma. Additionally, I have spent over 15 years working in the criminal justice system, as a law enforcement officer and first responder training coordinator. My background in law enforcement makes me uniquely qualified to understand the stressors that first responders experience as well as the traumatic events that can have lasting impressions.
