About Suncoast Watersports

Since 1978, Suncoast Watersports has provided St. Pete Beach locals and visitors with an abundance of water fun and recreation, and an emphasis on parasailing. Our goal is to be a conduit for memories that last forever, and we do so by ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests. Co-owner Captain Dave Winkler is a pioneer in the parasailing industry and is regarded as one of the longest running parasail operators in the world. He is also one of the most safety-conscious.

The safety standards we apply to our parasailing operations are the same for our waverunner rentals, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. All equipment is thoroughly inspected and well-maintained between use, and we provide detailed instruction prior to use along with close supervision during use.

Parasailing

Come Parasail with Suncoast Watersports, 2018's W.S.I.A's Operator of the year for demonstrating in highest regards to safety standards and delivering exemplary customer service to every guest we meet.

Parasailing is available in single, double, or triple, at the captain's discretion. There is no age requirement for parasailing but anyone under 18 will need parental consent. Parasailing is only available when weather is permitting.

Upgrade includes 5 extra minutes, multiple dips and a max altitude “skydive simulation” drop toward the water before being shot back to full height.

Suncoast Watersports adheres to the strictest of established industry safety guidelines for weather standards and reserves the right to suspend activities.

Anyone wanting to ride in the boat and not participate as a parasailer may do so for a charge.

Parasailers choose from a 10 or 15 minute flight but should plan to be on the boat for up to one hour.

Banana Boat Rides

Banana Boat rides are available throughout the day for groups up to 6 at a time.

Each ride is approximately 15 minutes long and is tailored to the ages and ability of the participants to ensure everyone has a great time. The price per passenger is $25. Book 6 people and receive $25 off!

Waverunner Rentals
 

We have two locations for waverunners (also commonly referred to as 'jet skis') with two different sets of prices. All of our waverunners are Yamaha 1100s and can support up to 3 passenger or a maximum or 375 lbs.

Prior to each rental, we do a tutorial of safe operation. We require a photo ID for all participants over 18 and Visa or Mastercard for waverunners.

There are no age requirements to be a passenger but you must be 18 to operate by yourself. Children 15 and up with a photo ID may operate with a parent on board.

Florida state law requires all persons born after 01/01/1988 to have a safe boaters license but if they don't, we offer a 25 question multiple choice test for $3. The test can be taken at our facility, with a passing grade of 19/25, and we can issue a one-year temporary boating license. You can also take the test online at https://www.boat-ed.com/floridarental/
